Raspberry Pi autostart java app

Hello,

I am developing an application with Java and Totalcross to run in a Raspberry Pi 3.

The app is working well on the Raspberry Pi 3, but we can not boot it on the startup. We have tried several methods, but without any success: https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/questions/40112/java-gui-app-on-startup
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/51106040/how-do-i-run-a-program-at-startup-on-raspberry-pi-after-the-gui-has-loaded

We don’t know how to do it. The Totalcross application doesn’t have the java jar files, so many options doesn’t work.

Does anyone know how to do the startup?

Thank you

Hello @danimv, That’s because totalcross is not a java application, but is still possible to do this!
You need to create a Program.Desktop file at
/etc/xdg/autostart/PROGRAM.desktop
and link it to your totalcross program (The linux arm deployed one)
Have a look at method 2:

Problema solved! @danimv reported me that just move libtcvm.so to some folder on raspberry pi and it all worked =)
